Attention: All High School Students
Mercy Health is offering FREE heart screening to all area high school students. This program attempts to identify any pre-existing heart conditions that could potentially increase a student's risk of complications during athletic competition and/or vigorous physical activity. Welcome Baby Jonathan
We would like to introduce Jonathan Daniel as the newest member of our Shoreline Pediatric Family!
Jonathan was born on December 10, 2017 to Dr. Jennifer King and her husband Aaron.
As his arrival was a little earlier than expected, Jonathan is healthy and doing great (and so is Mom)!

Flu Season 2017-2018
Flu Season is approaching again!
We will be holding Flu Clinics again this flu season on the following dates and times. You can also request your child's flu shot at any regular office visit with their PCP. Flu Clinics are by appointment only and can be made by calling 231-777-2732 or logging into your Patient Portal account to request an appointment. Get your childs flu shot scheduled today!
- Thursday, October 5th - 1:00-4:30 PM
- Wednesday, October 11th - 9:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Thursday, October 26th - 1:00-4:30 PM
- Tuesday, November 14th - 1:00-4:30 PM
Remember to do your part during this flu season. Visit www.cdc.gov/flu/prevent for ways to protect your loved ones!

Prescription Refill Line
For your convenience, we now have a Prescription Refill Line available. If your child is in need of a prescription refill, please call 231-777-2732, option 3 where you will be asked to leave a detailed message. Refills for controlled substance medications (ADD/ADHD, etc) can now be electroncially sent in as well. Our Refill Line is available Monday-Friday only. All approved refills will be ready for pick-up at the pharmacy of your choice within two business days.
Dr. Woods' patients, please note you will still need to pick-up your controlled substance medication(ADD/ADHD) refills at our office.
You can also request refills on line using our Patient Portal. This allows you to make the request anytime at your convenience!

- Cover your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing
- Clean/wash your hands
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
- Stay home when you are sick
- Practice healthy habits-exercise, rest, and eat healthy

SPORTS PHYSICALS
If you have a child in the 6-12 grade that plans to participate in a school sport, be aware the physical will need to be done on or after April 15th. Please keep this in mind when scheduling your teenagers yearly physical. Call early to schedule!

Our Patient Portal is up and running!
Established Patients-once you "create an account" (top left of above header) this will allow you to request an appointment, refill prescriptions, fill out needed paperwork, and make online bill payment. Give it a try! New Patients-please call our office to schedule an appointment before creating an account.

Appointment Reminders
Beginning February 4, 2013 appointment reminders will be delivered to you by your preferred choice of communication (voice, text, e-mail). These appointment reminders are a courtesy to remind you of upcoming well exams, sports physicals, medication check-ups, and new patient appointments. In the past, you received a call one working day prior to the appointment, now you will receive a message 2-3 days prior giving you adequate time to call and reschedule if necessary. Please make sure we have your updated contact information and your preferred choice of communication. Thank you.
